Refund Policy

This page summarizes our refund policy in plain language. It states the same policy as Section 8 of our Terms of Service, which is the governing text if the two ever appear to differ.

In short: Vaerune has a free tier so you can try the software before paying. Because of that, all payments, for the one-time Vaerune purchase, Plus/Pro subscriptions, and server rental, are final and non-refundable. You can cancel a subscription or a rental at any time to stop future charges.

Vaerune (one-time purchase)

The one-time Vaerune purchase is non-refundable. Try the free tier first if you are not sure Vaerune is right for you; it lets you install and run a game server before you buy.

Plus and Pro (subscriptions)

Plus and Pro renew automatically each billing period until canceled. Payments already made are non-refundable and not prorated. Canceling from your account billing portal stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.

Server rental

Rentals are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until canceled. Payments already made are non-refundable and not prorated. Canceling stops future billing and takes the server offline; we keep a snapshot of its world data for 30 days afterward so you can download it, described on our Rent a server docs page.

Statutory rights

This policy does not override any non-waivable statutory refund or withdrawal right you have under the mandatory law of your country or state of residence (for example, EU/UK consumer-withdrawal rights), which continues to apply where it cannot lawfully be waived.
